The Jessica Fletchers - Less Sophistication

Well kids, here’s a trip down memory (and melody) lane. When I was a teen back in 1995 Britpop swept the nation. Loads of English bands regurgitated sixties music and sang with cheeky lyrics, used noises like woo woo, la la la or even doo doo doo and made you want to dance your ass off.

Yes I loved those times. To tell the truth I’m sure The Jessica Fletchers do too!
‘Less Sophistication’ is the band’s third release and it is lots of fun. Loads of cheery melodies filled with bounce and panache. Perfect for a sunny day or to get a party moving. Even the lyrics are about girls and buzzing and having a good. There is nothing better than pop as pure as this! In fact the last time I heard an album as poppingly brilliant as this was Supergrass’ ‘I Should Coco’ (in fact the jessicas remind me of them very much!).
Did I mention this group hails from Norway- yep its true! If you’re a mopey old grumpboots then invest in this, it will make you crack a smile.
