Being an indie supergroup consisting of moonlighting members of British Sea Power, Electric Soft Parade and The Tenderfoot, Brakes fizz with the weird, jangled energy of their day jobs. Ripping along at a cracking pace, this mess of piss-take thrash and six-toed country was recorded straight to tape and is gone in less than half and hour. From the garbled prank call, Pick Up The Phone, to wallflower anthem, All Night Disco Party, Give Blood is a call to arms to talented oddballs the world over. Pass the Ritalin.
