The trip of a lifetime.

Gallivant is a travelogue like no other. Artist and filmmaker Andrew Kotting’s freeform road trip round the British coast is part homage to the unsung eccentrics who make up our national identity, and part emotional tribute to the bonds of family. The two females in Kotting’s life are his companions on this mini-epic journey: his octogenarian gran and his young daughter Eden, who suffers from Joubert’s Syndrome. A couple of hours in their company will confirm even the hardest cynic’s faith in humanity. This special double DVD also offers Kotting’s short film collection: salty proof that innovation and entertainment in film needn’t be strangers. Extras Eleven short films by Kotting, a two-screen film – Visionary Landscapes, two illustrated booklets.
