Lyrically it’s typical indie. Love and such oddities ‘California I can see it from the roof’ (‘California’) or ‘Time well spent travelling, time well spent in-between’ (‘In-between’). I honestly swear that by the end of this album’s half hour you’ll want to strip and dance in a field with your arms wide open loving life and all that is created. I can’t really pick a highlight as its good all throughout. If you like the poppier element of Guided by Voices, Imperial Teen or Lush then this is the album for you. Hopefully when they perform at SXSW (alongside local heros ‘The Beangrowers’) the audience will have to wear sunglasses cause these guys melodies are so damn bright! Actually coupled with The Beangrowers equally infectious tunes there will be some blindess!
