![]() bad santa
It’s XXXmas. It’s a wan, awful life: Billy Bob Thornton’s Father Christmas is one bad mutha in Terry “Ghost World” Zwigoff’s joyfully outrageous XXXmas satire. Featuring an alcoholic, oversexed safebreaker using his Santa guise to raid the department stores he works in – aided by a black dwarf posing as an elf – this film is so un-PC it’s wearing a dirty Mac. A scurrilous script and fiercely unsentimental performances provide the best twisted Christmas gift since Gizmo the Mogwai got fed after midnight. Bad Santa, on national release 05 November 04.
