apart from this isn't really Test Drive at all its just another game with that brand slapped on, i'm here to review the real Test Drive now. First let me start by saying something which will most likely be very contreversial, i think this is the best arcade racer i have ever played! Oki, now your over the shock let me give you my reasons, firstly the music is fantastic featuring tracks from Fear Factory, Pitchshifter, KMFDM, and Junkie XL just to name a few. The whole game oozes attitude, the music is in your face hard rock and industrial. The tracks are either sprint or circuit so no originality there but the tracks are designed brilliantly full of short cuts and massive jumps. The clincher is that even though its not a perfect game its above all else it feels like a labour of love and not made in a board room, not overally comercialised. GRAPHICS: A fairly large amount of pop up but the car models look great. SOUND: Industrial all the way, heavy and in your face. The cars sound like hair dryers so good job the soundtrack is so good. GAMPLAY: The handling is pure arcade, cars roll if you go sliding round a corner too long, the jumps feel great as you see how high up you really are. The game has a good feeling of speed aswell. OVERALL: A great fun mess about, secret modes and cars keep you coming back for more, go get the real Test Drive before you get Unlimited.
