Big and boozy psychedelia, with added bassoon.

This avowedly untrendy bunch of scraggy beards and longhairs make big-sounding, celestial psychedelia that combines the wide open spaces of 60s country rock with the lost treasures of former Monkee Mike Nesmith’s astounding Cosmic American Music. Yet this is music made on an industrial estate in the Northwest by an England-meets-America four-piece: two Lancs and two Texans who fat out their sound with more musicians than you can shake a stick at, including a Peter & The Wolf-obsessed bassoonist. It all makes for a bag of big boozy bliss.
