Barking up the right tree.

The debut album from DDIHC starts with some rambunctious piano that descends into a hysterical Orange Juice/Kajagoogoo cocktail, perfectly setting up a bunch of songs full of brash brass, choppy guitars and bluster. The Scottish funsters sing about fancying Lucy Lui and Angelina Jolie, while Somewhat Off The Way (a slowie halfway through the album) has a great “Oh, ooh oh” chorus that should be howled along to, over tear-stained Rizla and revision notes across the land. Energetic, ballsy and fun.
