This summer’s blissed out beats. The Isle of Skye’s Myles MacInnes is being hailed as the new Röyksopp. Like the Nordic duo, his debut album has literally come from out of nowhere and will soundtrack a summer of going out and staying in. Despite the title, he’s not anti-rock. At least, not the soft variety - Kim Carnes’ Bette Davis Eyes meets Daft Punk (honestly) on In My Arms. Filling the gaps between Prince and !!!, this is for those who spent the last two decades shaking their hips rather than banging their heads. Mylo - Destroy Rock & Roll, released 17 May 04 on Breastfed.
