The futuristic sound of yesteryear. Originally released in 1978 and reissued by the Rephlex imprint in 2004, the first mini-album by this French duo was a masterpiece of baroque, rippling electronic disco. This comically delayed follow-up is less a sequel and more a companion piece. With their beautifully executed moments of glitterball decadence and high analogue drama, all six tracks here could easily have featured on that mythical original release. If you’re planning on filling a yacht with supermodels and heading out to St Tropez anytime soon, you’ll not find a more fitting soundtrack than this. Black Devil Disco Club - 28 After, released 09 October 06 on Lo.
