My, what big teeth you have.

As with 2005’s Mother’s Daughter And Other Songs LP there are plenty of electronic ingredients hubbling ’n’ bubbling in the folky brew of Tunng’s second album. Yet it still sounds less like it’s been cut up on computers than stitched together on an old-fashioned spinning wheel. Possibly Rumpelstiltskin’s in fact, as, despite the delicate acoustic arrangements and whimsical lyrics about people being turned into hares, there’s definitely a Brothers Grimm atmosphere to tracks like Woodcat. Tunng also have a knack for spinning traditional instruments and samples together into pure gold.
