andy votel 'music to watch girls cry'

Twisted Nerve’s boss mixes it up.

Music To Watch Girls Cry was originally only a promo CD, given away to friends of Twisted Nerve on the basis that it contained 60 tracks that would be a nightmare to clear. But thanks to Fat City the mix is finally available to buy, and a fine purchase it is too. Over an hour long, this energetic, musical-gear crunching mix fuses some fantastic rare grooves, funky soul, psychedelic Indian sounds and the kitchen sink for good measure. Andy Votel must have one of the coolest record collections ever. Absolutely fantastic. (8/10) Matt Walton 25 July 03

Andy Votel - Music To Watch Girls Cry, released 28 July 03 on Fat City Recordings.
