dvds - ivans xtc

Down and out in Beverly Hills.

Jay Maloney was one of the most powerful Hollywood agents in the world in the mid-90s. Then he put a lot of coke up his nose and fell from grace - his body was found hanging from a shower head in his Mulholland Drive home. Director Bernard Rose, one of his former clients, used Maloney and a bit of Tolstoy as inspiration for this savage, bitter, angry attack on the particular brand of evil that fills Los Angeles. Wake up, world: this is ugly. You need it. Extras Deleted scenes, filmographies, film notes, trailer. (9/10) Alex Godfrey 11 July 03

Ivans xtc (2000), out now on Metro Tartan.
