What this album produces however is much more than that. The variety of music on offer is wonderful. Everything from the packaging to the recording has a somewhat 'homemade' feel, but within that there seems to be such a lot to investigate. Every time I've played it so far (and it's been spinning in my CD player almost constantly), I've found something different. This seems so different to anything else I've heard recently that it really is a breath of fresh air, but at the same time it seems full of influences. Zootime wouldn't sound out of place on some of the early King Crimson albums whilst Little Bag of Hair has such a luxurious layered sound that, along with its lyrical content, it could (almost) be compared to a Low track. I haven't yet found anything to be critical of. The four stars only indicate that I can see a lot of potential in future releases.
