Wed 04 Feb 2009 16:57:59 GMT+1 samlucabill Yesterday's two main news stories were findings of "The Good Childhood report" and the closure of school's due to the extreme weather conditions. How ironic that while the "The Good Childhood report" story indicated that our children are living lives that are anxious and troubled due to the quest for material success by adults. The other story prompted people to complain that closure of the schools set a bad example to children.I myself took full advantage of the weather conditions. Aware that my young children may never witness such glorious snowfall again in their childhood we trekked to the local park which was full of families and friends having fun tobogganing. The extreme weather has given my family memories that we will all cherish.Remember Citizen Kane. Remember Rosebud.
