Any excuse for fun seems legitimate, surely. That's why I think Lord Mair might, with the team, organise a Frogstival.I mean, if Jools can have a Hootenanny... Fri 17 Oct 2008 10:24:09 GMT+1 jonnie Wished I'd been there - next time I hope! Please can someone organise a Wintertime one? Oh that's an idea! -- Mmm I;ll think ;-) Fri 17 Oct 2008 00:34:09 GMT+1 needsanewnickname Well. I could have been there if Real Flippin Life hadn't got in the way. So just quiet envy...[faint sound of sobs]I wonder if Our Eric mightn't arrange a Frogstival around the Xmas/New Year/Burns Night/any other excuse to be cheerful around the dark and gloomy nights sort of time? Why, he could even ask us over to the canteen for a polystyrene cup of some unidentifiable brown liquid. Fri 17 Oct 2008 00:01:37 GMT+1 pmmolly GillianianIt's up to us to learn the tricks you all seem to have at your fingertips. I have a litle more time now . I SHALL be savvy!Did you have a good time?Mollyxx Thu 16 Oct 2008 20:12:12 GMT+1 Gillianian Ffred (18) I didn't think it was possible to include ANY sort of link to a personal web-site, etc on this new-fangled version of the Blog.Chris (19) I don't have either, either! I relied on other ''tech-savvy'' folk to give us access to theirs ;o) Thu 16 Oct 2008 19:59:24 GMT+1 Fifi This post has been Removed Thu 16 Oct 2008 17:05:10 GMT+1 mittfh FFred (18): Alternatively, since it isn't needed for it's original purpose any more, reinvent the refuge... Thu 16 Oct 2008 16:19:52 GMT+1 Chris Ghoti Ah, Gillianian, I'd still miss things: I have neither a blog nor a website. Nor do I do any of the things that involve sound or moving pictures: i run a Mac Quadra 650 and it simply isn't large enough to deal with these newfangled matters, poor fing. Thu 16 Oct 2008 16:07:19 GMT+1 Fearless Fred Well, how's this for a suggestion: On the Beach, the tech-savvy can include links to personal websites/blogs/email addresses thereby getting people in contact. Once there, it should be fairly simple to get froggers all sorted before the next Frogfest :-) Thu 16 Oct 2008 16:07:11 GMT+1 Gillianian Molly and Chris - if only we could get in touch with each other easily, like in the days of The Old Blog, where a click on some individuals' names would take us to personal blogs or web-sites ;o( Thu 16 Oct 2008 15:22:23 GMT+1 Chris Ghoti *sulk* Thu 16 Oct 2008 15:12:25 GMT+1 Perky Oh Molly - do please come next time! Thu 16 Oct 2008 14:56:12 GMT+1 pmmolly Lots of you, were there?(smiles bravely.) Thu 16 Oct 2008 14:51:06 GMT+1 Humph Do you eat grass, ValP (5)? Would it not be better to smoke it?H. Thu 16 Oct 2008 14:41:24 GMT+1 Big Sister Bum hugs all round! Thu 16 Oct 2008 14:07:21 GMT+1 Perky Fifi (6) I'm still copping abuse from the (nearly) teenager on that front! Thu 16 Oct 2008 14:01:51 GMT+1 The Stainless Steel Cat Fifi (3):Whenever you feel to urge to say "Bah, humbug!" just switch a couple of letters and find "Ah! Bum-hug!" Thu 16 Oct 2008 11:02:48 GMT+1 Fifi Seriously though... the apparent matiness of these exchanges amongst regular froggers does NOT mean that anyone is being kept out of anything on purpose. Experience so far shows that whenever froggers meet up for the first time*, they get along famously. It's disconcertingly like meeting someone 'again' ... because so far, we've all turned out to be pretty much how we appear on the blog!*Obviously, when meeting strangers for the first time it makes sense to do so in a public place, or to take someone with you. So, do be a bit careful. As I'm quite sure your teenaged children will tell you, when you try to explain where you're going...;o) Thu 16 Oct 2008 10:46:14 GMT+1 ValeryP Gosh - sounds like my diary entry ;-) Thu 16 Oct 2008 10:42:23 GMT+1 Fearless Fred And I wasn't even there (at that point)! Thu 16 Oct 2008 09:58:33 GMT+1 Fifi My 'bah humbugness' is evaporating rapidly.Funnily enough, this card was purchased on a Sunday afternoon from a newsagent named after Fearless Fred among others... Thu 16 Oct 2008 09:55:04 GMT+1 Big Sister I seem to remember you telling us all that we were quite mad, the lot of us, on another occasion - Why oh why oh why do we keep on loving you? ;o) Thu 16 Oct 2008 09:51:45 GMT+1 Big Sister I hereby swear that I had absolutely nothing to do with this, Baron Mair. Not on this occasion, at least .... Thu 16 Oct 2008 09:50:15 GMT+1
