MY FIRST NAME IS APRATIM.People pronounce/write like this:APARTIMAPRITIMAPRAATIMAPRATINAPRITAMPRITAMOPROTIM I was fed up off all these.I had to tell everybody my nickname as I thought it would be easier to pronounce. So,let it be MUNU(the nickname)Now some are making a mistake and calling me MUNNA..What can be done??Only few people pronounce my name properly.. I should have said when booking a Hotel reservation or similar. It would no doubt secure a better room...... and yes BigSister, how right you are - and what better reason for legitimately having the title ;-) Thu 04 Sep 2008 09:34:56 GMT+1 Big Sister http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/pm/2008/09/eric_muir.shtml?page=66#comment16 Jonnie: As everybody knows, Eric is already Lord Mair of Blogland. Well, no-one's going to ask to see your imaginary KGC as proof of title, are they? Some customers were rather confused when turning up for their appointment, and I relayed this to the room where this group of people worked. One lady had a meeting with a Mr Stonebridge. Having spoken to her at the desk I assured her that I would go and find the relevant gentleman... "There is a lady here who would like to speak to Mr Drawbridge.." Well, I guess you had to be there.. They were out, and it wouldn't fit through the letterbox..... they had a job claiming it without any ID!
