Not enough postage and no return address. Must have been hanging around behind an old file cabinet in the dead letter office for seventy years. When postage was 1P, Libby Muir was in knickers. Or maybe not born yet. Thu 03 Jul 2008 04:05:38 GMT+1 gossipmistress http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/pm/2008/07/ok_who_did_this.shtml?page=93#comment28 Hahaha! Not me either. Funny though! Sorry again, Fifi! And I've forgotten to post it. But it was much more attractive than the one above. Haven't you heard of the credit crunch? And we're burning up corrugated cardboard to keep warm here, not sending it through the post at vast expense.Ha ha ha though. Especially at the Libby Muir bit. Am I in a different time zone?I think I'll go and lie downin a darkened room. 'Cos they can only IMAGINE your enjoyment at their every post and word. But now the PM letter line and the BBC Comment line have got a whole lot cheaper. (Dial 0830 wherever you use to dial 0870) Which means you can HEAR yourself sounding off on the letter line - if only by playing back what you recorded and you can get a nice young BBC trainee producer to agree with you that it was nice to hear Helen Shapiro again, and how interesting the comments made about the long lost Beatles interview at 2pm on Radio 4 today were, and how great it would be to SEE the interview either on the web or on TV, (it is in black and white and apparently Paul is wearing shirt and tie, a suit and cuff links ...)...and...no, you're not being boring, that nice young trainee producer says so, and s/he will make careful note of your comments and...Personally I think the very best of the blog posters will resist this temptation to hear the sound of their own voices and a few words of personal appreciation and keep you all as entertained as ever. But among the weaker, duller, more vainglorious brethren some may fall to the tempta....Sorry, gotta go, I've got through, and that so polite call handler is asking ME can she help!!!!
