We used to have it at school. I'd forgotten that, till recent events reminded me. We're going to Christchurch in a month or so. Suspect we won't be going into the centre of town much. One of the glories of Christchurch used to be all the old Victorian stone buildings. Quite unusual for NZ. Most buildings were of wood, because of the earthquake risk. But we used to think Christchurch didn't get earthquakes in the way the North Island did. How wrong we were on that count... "Steady on old boy" cried Olgy a split second before the mashie Diggles was swinging struck him in the area of his Sporon."I'll be having that sir" said David, his faithful batman as Diggles swung a 6' stuffed Eel at him. "Is there a problem sir?" enquired David."You know bally well what the problem is" shouted Diggles, "It's the BBC and the Home Service.
