Wed 16 Dec 2009 23:20:51 GMT+1 Sindy RadioTuna, I think ... Wed 16 Dec 2009 23:20:11 GMT+1 hectoria RE Post 20 this should be for December 15th (see that day please). Wed 16 Dec 2009 13:02:43 GMT+1 hectoria I was amused by the piece on "Radiotuner";if Chris Valance is a true fan of Richard Thompson he would know that RT is rarely played on the radio so it's not surprising that the computer program could not find him. Wed 16 Dec 2009 11:49:26 GMT+1 annasee Lady Sue - a good point. Marmite - eeeugh. Far too salty. Can't touch the stuff. Vegemite - much better. Mon 14 Dec 2009 23:22:08 GMT+1 lucien desgai 15 NormanI was in Prague three months before the 'commies' threw in the towel. You should've had the hole-in-the-wall waffles, not the chocolate ... well worth the queue. Mon 14 Dec 2009 19:17:41 GMT+1 Lady_Sue Eddie's asked for a 'taste test' suggestion and I would like to proffer Marmite (UK) vs Vegemite (Oz). Vegemite was produced after Marmite and, legend has it, the first name it was given was 'Parwill' and that the Marmite company successfully sued for a name change.Contestants? How about Julian Fellowes/Prince Charles/Delia Smith and Germaine Greer/Clive James/Rolf Harris? Mon 14 Dec 2009 18:57:37 GMT+1 Sindy Lepus - sheer good fortune! Mon 14 Dec 2009 18:18:56 GMT+1 normanmugabe After the commies threw in the towel, I had to make some visits to Prague. With a gay sense of adventure, I bought some chocolate. It tasted like camel phlegm having first been made chewy by the simple expedient of passing it through the exhaust manifold of a 67 Dodge Charger.I would've gobbed it out on the pavement; but I was concerned I might cause somebody's mutt to be poisened. Mon 14 Dec 2009 18:12:08 GMT+1 steelpulse I cannot talk about clergymen or confectionery companys. A taste test, Eddie? lolSo I listened to both sides of the airline dispute and think – both sides are allegedly available for talks but……. I am missing something perhaps? Part of the story from both sides maybe? Can I offer Unite the following wisdom - an old "saw" perhaps and from my normal source on the Internet with appreciation(and with my normal sauce). Thought of the Moment: The man who strikes first admits that his ideas have given out. - Chinese proverbSo both sides - prove me wrong - that you have not run out of ideas to resolve this spate. Before - well before the 22nd.we aim to please - with TinTin = I tease law - mope - hit Inn twit? lol Mon 14 Dec 2009 18:00:52 GMT+1 Lepus_Madidus How did I manage to visit the US twice without trying Hershey chocolate? Mon 14 Dec 2009 17:57:49 GMT+1 Gillianian Hersheys???? Bleah!!!!! Mon 14 Dec 2009 17:57:03 GMT+1 bright-eyedwendym Re 9 Obviously I meant English. Sorry Mon 14 Dec 2009 17:42:02 GMT+1 newlach That killer Peter Tobin is back in the news. There was a sordid case not long ago in Scotland which involved Tobin, a Catholic priest and a young Polish girl who was murdered. The priest was found to be in contempt of court. Mon 14 Dec 2009 17:37:32 GMT+1 bright-eyedwendym EddieI always cringe when I hear that Scotland has 'free personal care' for the elderly because I'm sure if I were Englsih I would be furious about it. In fact my mother-in -law was in the midst of dementia when this provision started here. We had sold her flat to pay for her accommodation in a home and that money disappeared very quickly. The 'free' care aspect meant she no longer got attendance allowance and so it ended up being just the same as before. Mon 14 Dec 2009 17:28:27 GMT+1 davmcn DD 5, As well as the five others I sent today. Not that I'm greedy. Just productive... Off to France tomorrow. Mon 14 Dec 2009 17:18:45 GMT+1 DoctorDolots 2. davmcn - I demand a petition to reinstate davmcn photographs on this board. Mon 14 Dec 2009 17:14:02 GMT+1 DoctorDolots Re those planning to fly this Christmas whose plans have been dashed, tough. They should stay at home and stop putting themselves first, second and last. I don't feel any sympathy, perhaps Eddie was planning a little trip? Mon 14 Dec 2009 17:10:53 GMT+1 Idcam headline suggestion: BA Humbug - Christmas Scrooge Strike Threatens.!!!
