I know (or at least, I’m fairly sure) Ian isn’t technical, but that just means he shouldn’t have been the one writing the post.In order for this to have happened, there must have been a process whereby the decision-makers are briefed by people with technical knowledge. Somewhere along the way, be it miscommunication, misunderstanding, or something else, this process has failed. The explanation is even more confusing than the situation itself.
