This kind of thinking has recently landed us with Mrs Alistair Darling(!) hosting think ins at No 11 on funding the arts in recessionary times. Mrs Alistair Darling! I'm sorry but I am one of Mr Darling's constituents and as far as I am aware no own voted him in to help his journalist wife scale the Arts establishment greasy pole. I'm a song writer looking to complete a second album and I would rather not complete it than take a penny piece from the Arts Council.
