It can already be seen with Olympic athletes like javelin throwers, discus throwers, and powerlifters. In Karate there is a technique called Kiai where a person shouts or roars as they deliver a punch or kick; it's designed to unite the spirit with the body to get maximum power, and yes also to terrify your opponent.Interestingly enough, it's known that muscles contract more powerfully when you breathe out than when you breathe in, and using Kiai or grunting with effort ensures this. Week commencing June 5th, not sure what day it was, thinking it was the thursday, you had on your programme footage of a giant turtle being released back into the sea. The presenter of that particular piece was wearing a sparkly star ( I think it was star shaped) shaped pendant, am trying desperately to find out where she got it from as my daughter would love this, can you help at all?
