Mon 29 Dec 2008 20:50:06 GMT+1 laughingdavey7 http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theoneshow/onepassions/2008/12/behind-the-senes-at-the-doctor.html?page=40#comment4 Wow it's a tough choice for the bbc, but if it were down to me i would want someone older and very different to Tennant. it's about time we had an older more eccentric doctor , playing up the alien jig. the series has brought a lot with it i like, but i still prefer old school who, maybe because i was brought up on it, I've found it hard getting into new who, although i think each season gets a little better. however there's a lot that can be learned from old school who and i think we need someone very special for the role as always. personally i think anyone of these five would be killer for different reasons.my personal favorite Sean pertwee, Dylan Moran, James Nesbit, Hugh Dancy or Lain Robertson from sea of souls. Although Chiwetel Ejiofor is also a stron contender, lets not forget that David Tennant's roots are with the Bard and what a fine doctor he has been.
