Tue 10 Mar 2009 12:42:59 GMT+1 Retirethenumber17shirt Robbo,My condolences. If that's the kind of dross you Riversiders have had to put up with all season, get used to life in the Championship. We were dreadful for 45 minutes and yet can look forward to bombing out at Wembley in the semis to the mighty Mancs. Huth, the Bodysnatcher is little more than the German Titus Bramble alongside the equally inept Hatchet Harry Pogatetz. And you give that psycho the captain's armband? Kicking seven shades of it out of the opposition and wrapping yourself around attackers like Mottie's sheepskin coat - that's the new art of defending on Wearside? Southgate, give yer head a shake man! You were different class to these numbnuts. Tue 10 Mar 2009 12:06:44 GMT+1 Sevenseaman Blackburn, Boro and West Brom are the three names in the drop zone. But by next week the first two may be able to climb out at the cost of Pompey and New Castle.Having done it against LFC, it may not be past Boro to do an encore with presently patchy Portsmouth. Later down the fixtures calendar they will not have as juicy an opportunity for some while. Its tougher for Blackburn as both of their fixtures are away. But so was the one at OT, where they were barely Pogatetzed out. Pulling one result off will do the trick. However persuading the possibly Owen-reinforced New Castle to enter the trashcan may be as tough as putting a reluctant race horse into the starting stall. But since their would be hosts Hull have broken their jinx of poor results, it may not be a far fetched fancy either. My foregoing forecasts are without prejudice to any of the protagonists. In fact I love all fighters. The thoughts just came to me while I was merely looking at the 'dropcan' part of the PL table. The notion was part prompted by the fact that Robbo is a Boro fan. Wouldn't it be an ironic blessing to get rid of Robbo through Boro falling off? I am not too sure either way, just as much as that Robbo would really relinquish his Robboisms! Tue 10 Mar 2009 07:20:10 GMT+1 Albanianfootie Armchair Expert,I agree entirely with the SAF comment! See me prior comments. It must have been a weekend thingy though. Mon 09 Mar 2009 18:26:20 GMT+1 tricky-knee59 There really has been a bad outbreak of the Mary Whitehouse Syndrome this week. Hardly surprising as she and her cohorts have been posting comments on this blog for ages. Never did like her attitude that there was no such thing as an off-switch so I'll try and ruin the entertainment for someone who doesn't share my tastes. Mon 09 Mar 2009 16:29:08 GMT+1 TheChronicSmoker Idiot Mon 09 Mar 2009 16:10:33 GMT+1 Armchair_Expert I think the reason for all the blocked posts is that SAF is special guest moderator this week. Have you noticed the lack of MUFC bashing getting through? I suppose there is no reason why there should be, but doesn't normally stop anyone.Incidentally, I am writing this whilst dressed as Elvis (in full Las Vegas jumpsuit gear). Hope I get past house rule number 6 (Seen to impersonate someone else). Mon 09 Mar 2009 13:58:43 GMT+1 cov1985 Hmmmm...... I seem to have had a post removed for pointing out that one of Robbo's comments is similar to a Pete Doherty lyric. Not entirely sure how that breaks house rules..... Mon 09 Mar 2009 13:48:45 GMT+1 Cheesymunky Quote:"So how come Ince and Adams get the sack for not being able to get the job done, and Gareth is still there?"Answer:The soft lad in charge, far too decent and nice to run a club lol. Mon 09 Mar 2009 13:29:43 GMT+1 CHRIS Personally I'm happy to read anything that is having a pop at Cashly and his publicity seeking wife. Mon 09 Mar 2009 13:09:00 GMT+1 joerred124 Once again a boring blog filled with un-funny, un-related nonsense. Who wants to hear about Cheryl and Ashley Cole? Keep it relevant and it might be enjoyable. Mon 09 Mar 2009 11:42:23 GMT+1 ChelseaSaffer not at all funny today Robbo, u can do better mate! Mon 09 Mar 2009 10:27:58 GMT+1 Armchair_Expert Re: #82Complaints when you write about them. Now there are complaints when you don't! Sun 08 Mar 2009 21:56:42 GMT+1 BeanoMasch I think you're being harsh on the 'boro. I'm a Liverpool fan and my young son consoled me after we lost at the Riverside. He told me that Middlesborough would be the second best team in La Liga because we beat Real Madrid, so only Barcelona could beat Middlesborough. Stands to reason, eh? Sun 08 Mar 2009 08:54:22 GMT+1 Thanks A lot BBC7 Lets all relax..Robbo meets a "special lady" in the Bluebell. She says, "This is your lucky night. I’ve got a special game for you. I’ll do absolutely anything you want for 300 quid, as long as you can say it in three words." Robbo replies, "Hey, why not?" He pull his wallet out of his pocket, and one at a time lays three hundred-pound notes on the bar, and says, slowly: "Paint…my…house." And thank god you did not sing an ode to the great SAF this time! It is time, methinks, that someone talks about how SAF gets away with anything, including demolishing referees right and left. Poor Stevie Bruce is not even close. I also thought you d talk more about Rafa blaming lack of Torres for poor results. Dont you think it is time for him to go? But it is good to see Chelsea at second despite Cole's idiotic behaviour. He does the same thing in the pitch, mind you. After the Gerrard thing the other month, two-bit papperazzi journo's will print anything that involes a prem player having a disagreement in a pub or club and dress it up to be something that's actually interesting.Cole has fallen victim of celebrity status, the story should be taken with a pinch of salt Fri 06 Mar 2009 17:26:37 GMT+1 mikeysmastersafc 10. Fri 06 Mar 2009 13:44:31 GMT+1 Thanks A lot BBC7 Sunderland will beat Spurs 2:1, Everton will beat Boro 1:0, and Robbo will be relegated to Channel 5 together with his beloved Boro. The only one not going down will be Downing, as he can beat his man and make useless runs which sometimes lead to chances. Fri 06 Mar 2009 13:41:20 GMT+1
