People are still willing to buy GOOD CDs for all the reasons you've said. However, people are perhaps getting more cautious about testing the product first and are downloading sample tracks, before parting with cash. There are a number of CDs out there that really only have couple of good tracks on them and a lot of rubbish. Many of us have them in our collections, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that has got more wary over the years.I don't think the average person is capable of backing up their whole music collection safely and it will only take one disaster to send those punters straight back to a physical form.
