I was at the same concert in Edinburgh. I was a sixties girl and practically grew up with Leonard Cohen whlst I did all my courting, studying, raising a family. I never thought that one day I would see this famous man.His music surpassed all my expectations and every single song he sang moved me to tears. I also had the great pleasure of sitting next to two lovely young ladies who swayed to his music with me and were as moved as I was. I have just booked to see Leonard again in November at the NEC in Birmingham. Howeer, my first imporession of him in the specualr setting in Edinburgh will remain with me forever. Leonard Cohen not only gave an outstanding performacne. He also involved his band and his audience. A great man, a great evening and a wonderful appreciative crowd. We and many others were waiting in line since before 7pm.We just got to our seats as the concert began. The gates should have opened sooner to allow people to be seated. Fri 18 Jul 2008 06:53:55 GMT+1
