I have been reading mainly about the swimmers, tennis players and at times about wheelchair football. However, nothing is mentioned about wheelchair badminton.Wheelchair badminton has been taking place for the past 3yrs in London, Cardiff, Glassgow, Liverpool and in Germany. Yet, nothing is mentioned through the media. In fact, the world badminton championship will be held in Korea in September this year and yet I have not seen any news about the event. I think it is about time the media showed some interest in other disabled sports besides swimming and tennis. This will encourage disabled people to participate in sports within their capabilities. It's possible for people to particiapte in both summer and winter games as shown by Nathan Stephens and Stephen Thomas. Fri 17 Oct 2008 14:14:31 GMT+1
