What a feeling for you. I remember well our home straight. Of course our's did not really occur as far back as Santarem, although it did feel good to check it off the list. Maybe it felt within reach with when we left Belem for the last time rowing the last 100 odd km to Ponte Taipu and the Atlantic Ocean. I know your journey as well has been made so special by much more than the river itself but the people who live on it. So caring and friendly. I look forward to viewing the series. We missed you by just a few days in San Francisco, not long after being shot at. Good times! Safe journeys. Mark Mon 21 Jul 2008 12:48:29 GMT+1
