Tag search

How the search works

The search facility uses tags to find relevant content.

If you write an article, report or profile, the information you fill in the boxes at the top determines how an article is tagged.

All types of content will therefore have at least one tag - the relevant sport. This will allow you to find any report, article or profile about that sport.

There are ways in which you can refine your search. When searching for a particular sport, you can specify the type of content you want to find - football player profile, for example.

Another way of refining your search is to look for more than one tag. For example, you can specify your division, in football, or your team.

Other tags which may be useful are players' names. Players names are tagged on player profiles, but also on match reports (eg, man of the match). Unfortunately, the search can not find players' names in the body text of articles or match reports though.

606 contains content about more than just football - so if you are looking for content about any national teams, please specify the sport.

Please note that you can not use punctuation in your search terms. This includes apostrophes and ampersands. For example, please seach for Rushden and Diamonds and Queens Park Rangers.

If there are no results for a sport or team then it might be that nobody has created any content yet on 606. You could be the first to do this by clicking on the links on the right.
