I'm in shock. I can't believe what's happened to someone so young and full of life, what a great captain and player Phil was.

My thoughts go out to his family, friends and all Motherwell supporters.

All football fans feel they've lost a great player today, every club should have a minute silence at the beginning of their next games, in Scotland and England as a remark of respect.

God Bless you Phil, we're so sorry to lose you so young, I hope you're at peace now.
