'One of the most memorable sporting soap operas comes to its conclusion on Sunday.'

Comparing F1 to that depressing drivel Eastenders? That's a bit much!

I suppose F1, like in Eastenders everybody is always trying to do each other down?

I'm going to a do a PhD and see if there's a causal link between the Feral Youth currently afflicting the UK and Eastenders.

Then I am going to sue the BBC for every last penny.

The quicker use the licence fee shortfall as a reason to pull the plug on Eastenders the less the penal damages is likely to be.

"Hamilton ready for title decider" BBC lead story on this forum.

I should damned well hope he's ready! Honestly, what shabby reporting. The cuts have set in already, it would seem.

If the BBC cancelled Eastenders and paid that merkin chinned Johnathan Woss less could they afford to buy back the rights to air F1 in the UK?

Renault's view: "F1 statistics provide an interesting insight into this subject. Since 1950, in the eight decisive races with three drivers in the running for the F1 championship, the incoming leader has been crowned on only three occasions!"

It's very confusing having two Radio channels called Radio 5?

Tune into normal 5 Live and listen to Simon Mayo, or 5 Live Sport Extra for the Practice at Interlagos.

I think that primary school children are currently doing work experience at the BBC. Why else would the F1 reports and articles written by them be so reflective of a 10 ten year olds analysis and knowledge.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of luck. Illness, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create whom you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from. Lewis Hamilton is standing on that threshold of history. The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. So far Lewis Hamilton seem to have learned that life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes. Whatever happen on Sunday a new F1 king is here to stay.

Looks like Alonso's staying at McLaren then - funny how him and Lewis are now 'chums' and there's never been a problem...all the media's fault (according to Alonso). Me finks Mr Alonso has no decent option for next year and has agreed to accept his McLaren seat albeit that it comes, again, with a more talented team mate alongside. Wonder if he made Ron a cuppa this morning...took it to him in bed and said "sorry Ron..."

I hope this doesn't happen, but I would not be at all surprised to see both Mcalrens crash out due to driver error - I will not say if I believe it will be deliberate or who will initiate it - but it just wouldn't surprise me at all. I get the feeling someone would rather a Ferrari wins than his team mate.

I seriously don't think that Hamilton is going to help the Ferrair's win.

This is the kind of race where experience tells. Alonso hasn't had to attack a race so fiercely before, Hamilton hasn't had to just finish a F1 race under pressure and Kimi's experience reads like a "How to choke" manual.

Should make for an interesting encounter. I don't think Hamilton will win it, I think Alonso will lose it.

I think Raikonen will get poll and finish the race in 1st place with Alonso 2nd and LH 3rd which will give the title to Lewis.

Before the RWC, Ladbrokes had Hamilton at an almost unbackable 1/9 on to win the BBC sports personality of the year. If Wilkinson does another drop goal special, Hamilton might have a serious contender...

There is an article I wrote last week called "Renault assisting Alonso"

I did think about it if Renaults were in front of Alonso Would Flav tell them to let him pass or fight for position especially if its a podium position inc sacrificing a win

It was only hypothetical but would either Heikki or Fisi sacrifice a potential win for the team in order to allow their prodigal son to win and bring back the title !!!

If everyone is looking into Mclaren sabotaging Alonso's car why not look for outside assistance as well

Not quite sure how you arrived at this conclusion?
I'm going to assume have you mistakenly read kimi for kiwi!
