F1 Leg End (U9291660) posted Oct 19, 2007 I think that primary school children are currently doing work experience at the BBC. Why else would the F1 reports and articles written by them be so reflective of a 10 ten year olds analysis and knowledge.

Justice_wa_Baruti (U7933972) posted Oct 19, 2007 Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of luck. Illness, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create whom you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from. Lewis Hamilton is standing on that threshold of history. The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. So far Lewis Hamilton seem to have learned that life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes. Whatever happen on Sunday a new F1 king is here to stay.

flashblade (U7653782) posted Oct 19, 2007 Looks like Alonso's staying at McLaren then - funny how him and Lewis are now 'chums' and there's never been a problem...all the media's fault (according to Alonso). Me finks Mr Alonso has no decent option for next year and has agreed to accept his McLaren seat albeit that it comes, again, with a more talented team mate alongside. Wonder if he made Ron a cuppa this morning...took it to him in bed and said "sorry Ron..."

danielporterjones (U9314344) posted Oct 19, 2007 I hope this doesn't happen, but I would not be at all surprised to see both Mcalrens crash out due to driver error - I will not say if I believe it will be deliberate or who will initiate it - but it just wouldn't surprise me at all. I get the feeling someone would rather a Ferrari wins than his team mate.

anubisrich (U1948486) posted Oct 19, 2007 This is the kind of race where experience tells. Alonso hasn't had to attack a race so fiercely before, Hamilton hasn't had to just finish a F1 race under pressure and Kimi's experience reads like a "How to choke" manual.

Alex Banks (U2587414) posted Oct 19, 2007 Before the RWC, Ladbrokes had Hamilton at an almost unbackable 1/9 on to win the BBC sports personality of the year. If Wilkinson does another drop goal special, Hamilton might have a serious contender...
