Well well well, who says the premeirship is not the most exiting league in the world, MOTD ia a most see.

All hail the gunners we will run away with this title b4 they know it, just one observation, sanderos really needs to work on his aerial marking, i guess he was responsible for marking out dean Ash today, if you notice he won almost all the balls in the air today, just a thaught.

Pompey and Reading, you've restored my faith in entertaining football.

Alan Hansen can stick his 'terrible defending' right where the sun don't shine. I'll take an eleven-goal thriller anytime. It's just a pity one of you had to lose.

Anybody who plays the Premier League fantasy football know the answer to this?

Matt Taylor gets -1 for a yellow card but doesn't play. My 1st sub is Bentley who got a goal, assist and 10 points.

Will I get those points as the sub is a replacement for a player that does not appear. Taylor didn't play but I lost 1 point at the moment.

It was an amazing game from what I heard on the radio, but yeah Hansen is going to be all about statistics and poor defending:( Still, it was 2-2 for a while and I thought Reading did'nt play too badly - probably going to be a similar score for my sunday league game tomorrow.

Is this a premier league record? I remember 9-0, 8-1 and 5-4. All only 9 goals. 11 has to be the new record.

from a reading supporters point of view, we lost two games in a row 3-0, which was disastrous because we defended badly and our strikers where ghosts, in comparison, two games on, we're scoring goals and kitson in particular has been playing really well, still a 3-0 deficit, it just means we need to focus on defending now that the strikers are scoring, so its an improvement as well as a great spectacle, there were the same amount of goals in this game as there were in every other premiership game added together today HAHa

GUBBY - If Taylor didn't play then Bentley will come into your team if hes your 1st substitute.

And whats the betting that Man Utd or Arsenal are the 1st match up and have priority over Portsmouth vs Reading, the match most people want to see.

Well, predicably you didn't miss too much. Yep, the Pompey-Reading match WAS first on (another premier league record, no?) but the coverage was far less than subsequent matches involving...now let's guess...hmm, would that be that team that's just lost their manager by any chance, who managed a riveting 0-0 scoreline? The very same. No matter, surely the match would be on the front page of the Observer Sports section. How surprising, it's pushed off by...chelsea and a half-page photo of Drogba looking cross. Never mind, let's look inside and...what's this? MORE about Chelsea and another HUGE photo of an equally HUGE Chelsea fan (take a close look - has he really got his willy out? Now that IS showing disrespect) taking a photo of Abramovich. But where is the report about the record-breaking 11 goal match...ah yes, tucked away at the bottom of the page. No wonder both Chelsea players and fans alike believe they are God's own chosen ones when they are given such ill-deserved coverage. Still, we know who provided the real entertainment yesterday, and it wasn't a bunch of spoilt, petulant overpaid cheats (ooh, hope I didn't let my true feelings show there).

We will NEVER be one of the big guns with the media, as, i.e. Not near enough to the major Big cities like London, Birmingham, or Manchester..(Though admittedly near Manchester, look at Blackburn`s title winning Premiership coverage with the press back in `94-`95..Poor!) Everyone seems obsessed with Jose Mourinho & Avram Grant at the mo, & football is taking a back-seat..As with Reading`s Dave Kitson, he does look quite impressive, & took his goal sublimely cool..But England? Small clubs in Mr. McCLaren`s mind like us & Reading??..

I think its worth pointing out that not only was there a missed penalty but also a pefectly good goal by BobaDiop ruled out for offside (replays showed he wasn't). 8-5 would have been too much to comprehend!

In all seriousness though: although, as a Pompey fan, I'm delighted at our current form, I'm slightly fearful of what could happen when the African Cup of Nations kicks off. We'll be without the services of Muntari, Utaka, Benjani (assuming Zimbabwe qualify), Diop, not Kanu or Lauren (I assume they've retired from international footy - hope I'm right). We're a bit thin on the ground for replacements - Matty Taylor, Kranjcar, Pedro Mendez - perhaps even Nugent will take the opportunity to prove the doubters wrong & start looking like an international striker. Utaka going away with Nigeria for the ACN is starting to make the decision to flog Gary o'Neill to 'boro a bit dubious.
