Nakamura was of course delighted to score the goal but not as delighted as the 60,000 Parkhead faithful who won the free kick in the first place...

Celtic were very poor. Thats a big win for them. Bit like my team Dundee United beating Rangers a couple of weeks ago as its on the same scale as def has to go down as an upset.

Essien, we will show you and the real Essien just what Man Utd are about on Sunday, prepare to catch Utd when you are 6 points behind. You will win nothing and then the smug chelsea fans will go into hiding or come up with the excuses as always cos they have still never ACTUALLY lost a game with Mourinho hey?

No mention of Heinze' cheeky elbow in the penatly area? That should have been a penalty to celtic.

Quote: I thought Ronaldo was superb for United- he ran rings around Celtic

Sadly, as usual, he ran rings round himself too.

when will people realise that because you have a lot of possession in a game dosent mean youve outclassed another team?? how many chances did utd actually create?? wayne rooney a world class player??? english league best in the world??? sorry but the standard is shocking down south and maybe its time to take stock of that and realise you aint as good as you think..blackburn,liverpool,leeds,the list is endless scottish football is a much better quality than what you gove it credit for no denying that at all.

Excellent result for Celtic. MU were clueless when it came to the last ball and deserved to lose. In the first half they were pretty but ineffective and in second half they were second best. I see Chelsea scoring three at O.T.:-D

How embarrassing to loose to what looked like a moderately good Coca-Cola Championship team. I felt better loosing to Southend!

The ref did everything he could to assist United, but they failed to take advantage of his genorosity. remember Giggs got that dodgy penalty at old trafford? Nuff said.

One more word The Utd forward line was facing men tonight; real men. Hail hail

I can believe that someone on hear had cheek to say that Celtic deserved to win. Think that was a case of green tinted spectacles.

still even though celtic won it was united who desaerved it.for the past few weeks watchin united games all ive seen is referees and other officials screw us over .its unbeliveable how many times the ref made wrong decisions and the lines man were giving everything offside.i was shocked when i saw saha step up for the penalty .i knew he was going to miss we he stepped up i dont get why rooney or ronaldo did not take it.by far best player tonight was ronaldo he deserved it.

Saha pens always go the same way. the keeper knew this and it was an easy save.

Nobody's going to deny that there is an aggregate disparity in class between Celtic and Man U, man for man. But the two Champion's league results tell a picture, as to the real potential for competition. In the end, Celtic may well be favourites for topping the group given the final fixtures. That would be an amusing end-result, particularly since the Man U showboater's seemed so convinced of their superiority that they weren't even willing to capitalise on their mistaken pride by actually putting the ball in the back of the net at Parkhead.

Nothing like gracious in defeat
Celtic beat ya's fair and square unlike what a certain Ryan Giggs done in the first game....Justice for Celtic at last. Man Utd did play better but Celtic took their oppurtunities you lot didnt and another how was that a lucky goal!? He did exactly the same thing in the first game. It was 12 men agaisnt 12....Celtic had the fans Man Utd Had the ref.
