Excellent stats very good player. Had him in my fantasy league team all season - loads of lovely points! ok

His assist against Citeh was top class. Still that article puts him in the same sentence as Daniel Alves, which is wrong. Alves is unmatched!

Confirms what we already knew, I've just voted for him as player of the season on our website.

Player of the season. Definitely.

Only trouble is, the last one left us!

Do you fear him moving on?

Baines is going nowhere, I will bet my mortgage on it.

I hope so, but he may well be tempted?

But as he is picked for England now
I can't see what he could gain smiley

Pj's, he's a local lad mate, and he wants to stay in the City full stop, he's said so, and the only way he'll leave is if we sell him.

Oh I hope he stays, a shining light in an average season.

Pushing Cole for best LB in my opinion.

Pushing Cole?
Read his stats on the os mate, he's miles ahead of Cole in every discipline in his position, in fact he's the best left back in the whole of Europe bar one, in our favour he's probably the most under rated player in the Premier League, any club that wants him would have to offer at least 25M imo.

The only thing missing in his game is a trophy, he could be tempted by a short commute into Manchester in order to het that missing part?

No chance mate, as I said, I'll bet my mortgage that the only way Baines will leave Everton is if we sell him, aka Alan Balls unwanted departure

Fair play, hope he stays and is not tempted.

Fair play to Moues for sticking by him during his first tricky year and keeping faith. A 5M bargain.

To be honest, I thought Moysie kept him on the sidelines for too long, but Lescott was in his position and was outstanding at the time, so can't really have a go, I do think though that, on balance, he's been far and away our most consistent player in the last three years, we were chatting at the game today and saying that we all expect him to always have a good game, and he never lets us down on that score does he? a great great player imo but even better, he wants to be exactly where he is, what more can we ask for?

Always consistent, will be interesting to see if he can take it up a
Peg and really kick on?

Very hard to think of a bad game he has had this year, holds up that he made Pienaar look good.

Pjs,
I can't think of Baines ever having a bad game for us, can you?

In the last two seasons? Not one, he was a little out if sorts when he first came in, unfit more than anything.

Really struggling to thing of a bad period or game. Just the odd mistake but nothing shocking.

Yes mate, a little bit of an unsung {is that a word} hero imo, and the longer that lasts the better for us, got to say that Leon Osman {not my favourite player} has been awesome for us in the last four or five games, m o m again for me today and probably his best performance of the season, if both Cahill and Mikel are fit to start next week, i would still pick Ossie ahead of both of them.

Oh Ossie has always been a fav of mine. His willingness to play anywhere and give 100% everytime will always make him a player the club needs.

Lacks pace but full of energy, skill and now a little more consistency.
Is this the emergence of the real ossie we are seeing, I hope so.

I love the fella but he is a Danny Murphy type player, fantastic and underrated club player, but not an international.

He has by far been the best left back in the the league this season and I would go as far as to say. On paper he has more goals and assists than Bale?

He has been the best LB, but media darlings win the day again. Just happy he is at the club.
