Looks useful, but you have to ask why he's available on a free, as my old grandad used to say

"it's hard to get something good for nowt"

Was mentioned in the Daily Mail as well. A former trainee at A C Milan, now a free agent.

I'm not a great fan of North African players (although he was born in France) as Spurs have had some real duds over the years - poor attitude, don't like training and not "team" players but happy to be proven wrong. If he turned into another Taraabt I wouldn't mind.

Still, only paper talk at present so mustn't be regarded as a target. ;)

Proph!
It's rumoured that Slavia Prague are in deep do do's financially.Several players are in the process of leaving. He also has a bit of a rep for needing guidance with discipline. This lad has been on a trial at Hull and they seem to be impressed.

Wuh? So no-one would want Bothroyd or Burke in the summer because they're obviously rubbish if they're available on frees?

Dinas, I'm not saying that you can't pick up tidy players for nothing, If Burkey or Bothroyd became available on a free (a la Ledley) well there would be a queue of clubs looking to sign them up, call me cynical, but when players have to put a promo video on the internet to sell themselves, it just makes me wonder, if they were any good, surely clubs would be aware of them?

I didn't know that Prague were in the deep doo doos TBH, which could explain it, this lad is playing in the Czech league, not the biggest in the world, but it gets a fair bit of coverage, and is of a decent standard...............I could understand it if he was playing (with all due respect) for some low level Tunisian team and was looking for a move to Europe, then marketing yourself would make perfect sense, he might well be worth a look, but it looks like Hull may have beaten us to it.

Discipline problems?

well we all know how good DJ is at working with "difficult" players, looks like he could be lined up as a "replacement" for Jay, depending on which reports you choose to believe, well Jay is here until the end of the season anyway, so perhaps the money could be better spent on a defender? After all he is not going to come for nothing, still at the moment it's only paper talk, we will get a lot more of that before the window slams shut..........that's about the only thing we CAN be certain of ;)

Hi, Hull City Fan in peace.

Just thought I'd update you with what's been said at our end.

Seems he's impressed in a trial with us, but we maybe wouldn't have moved for him given the amount of signings we've made in the last few weeks.

Then last night one of our PL players on silly wages mysteriously walked away from his contract, and that's freed up a big wedge of wages for him.

Apparently now we're looking to sign him, but it doesn't sound like our chairman 100% about his Free Agent status.

Anyway - just thought I'd let you know what we're hearing up here.

Best of luck for the rest of the season. And thanks for Gerrard!

Tiger!
Gerrard is settling in well I take it.Olly started well for us,good solid player but sometimes seems to forgets where he is on times.

Is the PL player on silly wages Jimmy by any chance,or are you referring to a loanee?

Kamil Zayatte. Apparently our second highest paid player (after Bullard).

He's returned to France on compassionate grounds apparently. We've even retained his registration, so he's not going to sign for anyone without us getting paid. Seems pretty strange a 25 year old would just walk away from a 1m+ contract that only had 18 months left on it, without securing a future - but that's what he's done.

And apparently this is what will fund Belaid.

Like I say very mysterious.
