No way should Solano have been sent off, he stood completely still and did nothing. Hammill just knocked it miles past him and dived, he was playing for it and should have been booked

Mr lovre lovre-----

was a penalty, tho i have to admit, i think a red was harsh coming from that angle...
agree with 4tiger, solano never touched him, it was nearly as bad a dive as berbatovs last week, and i was angry he even gave the free kick, that should have been a barnsley yellow.....and the second barnsley player sent off, should have got another yellow for his sarcastic applause..i think barnsley got off lightly there laugh

Shackell may still have more of a comeback from that... Didn't Rooney get an extended ban for applauding a sending off a few years ago?

I think mr lovre lovre's point is the lack of consistancy you idiot!

And 4tiger must have been watching a different game if he thinks solano shouldnt have gone for blatantly taking hammill out

The second yellow for the Barnsley player should have been a straight red...he kicked out then he went to ground...thats when the linesman flagged and not before.

They were a nasty agressive team who tried to intimidate a fairly poor ref...shame on them it backfired and he started giving all 50/50s our way in the 2nd half...first half he was all for them...usually how it works when they go in at half time and reflect on a poor performance.

Standards in the championship are worse than the prem...neither is good enough really.

Still, got the 3 points which is what its all about, cannot wait to actually play well for 90 minutes...someone is going to get a real hammering if we do.

I was pleased to see that second bloke get sent off for Barnsley, he was moaning non stop all game, while also being a completely talentless footballer, it was just reward.

Barnsley were poor, their big centre forward was a joke, their keeper looked(uncharacteristically) scared to death and their defense was rubbish.

They were lucky they only came second winkeye

Solano should have been sent off? Then why did the linesman not flag for a foul despite being 5 yards away, and why, after consulting his assistant, did the referee actually warn Hammill for diving?

We've taken 4 points from you.
You've taken 1 point from us.
We are currently above you in the table.
We can't be that poor.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
That was almost three months ago, when we were skint and making do with what we were stuck with.

Only two of the starting XI at Oakwell started yesterday(4 players in that game aren't even here anymore), you should do away games, then you'd know what you're talking about.

PS - Hull and Oakwell should be in capitals. winkeye

white rose.
The ref was 5 yards away didnt give the pen.Carried on,let the striker shoot, the keeper saves it and then the linesman 20 yards away gives a pen(when they were both tussling at the outset of the move). If and it would have been a big if(poor forwards) he had scored would the ref have recalled it and gave a pen.You cant have it both ways.
Agree shackell should have got a red,as for solano that was pure gamesmanship and made no attempt to play the ball only the man.
And also what about your defender who got booked and then ten mins later takes our lad out and should have walked at 0-0.
Take the goggles off and actually watch 2 sides for a change.......
And also your team was very ordinary at times and we are not a good team!!
Youve spent millions on assembling your squad and your marker is to beat a ordinary reds team who have been assembled for 100.
well done for a great achievement.....

I said no such thing. What I meant was that although we were poor and up a certain creek without a paddle 3 months ago, we can't have been any worse than you.
