While I agree he should have been disqualified from the next race, a 10 place grid penalty will effectively ruin his race as if he qualifies lower than 14th he'll be at the back of the grid and will need a miricle to gain any points.

I doubt there are many F1 drivers would have handled the matter any differently. Besides, if you can't understand why Schumacher should have wanted to return to F1 just read Eddie Irvine's article in the latest edition of F1 Racing Magazine. Eddie explains it very well.

Schumacher should be banned, the move was obviously calculated in the hope of scaring Rubens into submission.

However Martin Brundle said it on sunday, Schumacher is now just a trophy for other drivers to beat.Let him stay and get completely humiliated by the new guns.

In Schumacher's peak no one could beat him not even Senna who was a dirty driver.

I'm thinking that Schumacher is the Stig after all. No wonder he tried to put Rubens into the pit wall. Well done, Rubens!! :-D

schumi has been given his penalty , a race ban would have been harsh imo. if you go back to the last few races especially at the start, look at some of the moves that vettel has done in forcing people to give way ,

Well, one has to give credit to Schumacher for his past performance - you don't get to win 7 World Championships solely through being a (unacceptable word deleted) of a driver.
Now however, he IS a has-been. His return was a mistake and he's incapable of mixing it with the best of today's drivers. Go home loser.
