Both cricinfo and BBC are slow on the uptake this morning. Nice to see Taunton is modelling itself on Columbo.

Not too good. 517 all out, but great figures from Patto on that flat track. Might be a struggle for Notts to match that, but Hussey is due a score , as is Sammy.

Wagh's 139 obviously hasn't put him into blistering form!

Yup, I would agree Green and Gold, as long as we avoid the follow on the game should be safe. Someone needs a big score though, and any more than 5 down tonight could leave us in problems...

In case anyone was wondering, I was in Taunton yesterday. Mullaney is out because he turned his ankle over - He could be out until after finals day. Sidebottom has a slight leg injury, but the man himself said it wasn't a huge problem. He picked it up playing football in the warm up

what? Mullaney out 'till finals day? Let's just hope the injury isn't that severe, where did you hear this? Also since hussey has came back into the 4 day game, he's hardly impressed. I swear we really on read to much because our top order fails. Yet I don't think we can drop anyone because they are all (bar read) incosistent, they all have good games and bad games and none of our top order is consistent enough. We better get a draw from this or we can kiss the title goodbye, again!

I heard Mullaney's prediction from the mouth of Steven Mullaney. He's having a scan today, but he says he's had a similar feeling injury and was out for almost a month

Great comeback by Samit and Ready here. Still, we need to get 400 here in order to claim max bonus points and more importanly, avoid the follow on at the same time.

Well done to Sammy and Ready, but big job on tomorrow. We cannot win this one , but just kick on for a few hours and we could save it.

Well done and don't just do enough to avoid the follow on a quick 50 or so from Tresco, Hildreth etc and Kartik may get to bowl a lot of overs on the last day.

Why are Notts following on?.
What are the rules and numbers regarding this, these days?

I think it is 175 runs in 4 day games , but please correct me if I'm wrong. Where is everyone today? are you all at Trent Bridge and now England are 66-4.

I have started another thread above, but forgot to put day 3 on it.

I'm here matey. Enjoying the cricket via Sky and Notts on the net.

I t does gall when Commentators say stuff like...
"If it wasn't for so-and-so, England would be in trouble".
Well....If it wan't for the Pakistani bowlers, we would still be batting.
Get boody dafter, they do.

Swannster getting in the runs.
