Six Nations - Week 2

The Scots only have themselves to blame, To be so dominant in a game for so long only to turn into blithering fools in the last 10mins really sums up Scottish rugby and football aswell.

----------------------------------------------

Thanks for your input.

I saw the forward pass, but I was more annoyed about the referee keep giving the scrum to Wales!

i have no idea how the media treat AWJ over the past week, but i'll bet it will be nothing compared to what the scottish media are going to rip lawson apart.

------------------------------------------

You'd be surprised smiley

Our media tend not to build up and then knock down our sportsmen with gusto like our English counterparts down south.

Restart into touch would have been good only if it bounced in play. But Parks should have tried it. Naive.

sorry i'll start that over again:

I have no idea how the welsh media treated AWJ over the past week, but Lawson is going to be given hell by the scottish media during the next week to fortnight, might be worth making it an 18 rating for a while

That was an absolute disgrace, Wales did not win, Scotland threw it away and Lawson should be left out of any 22 for the next year...

Disgrace.

Scotland bottled it! Plus you could see there indiscipline would catch up with them as the 2nd half went on. The ref was quite lenient and should have given the warning a lot earlier!

Wales need to face the fact that most of their errors stemed from the poor service of Cooper which frequently meant forwards were standing still taking the ball and being hammered back by scottish forwards.

Wales also need a bit more savvy around the Jamie Roberts crash ball which is becoming too predictable. Dummy it a couple of times and opposition will think twice about committing and then Jamie will take advantage of it eventualy as they will be in 2 minds.

Richie Rees has to start from now on!

By the way this also shows how bad England were last week! They can have as many so called dynamic backs as they like, but will be rendered useless unless the forwards recycle quickly but they have a mental block on anything beyond "we must slow the ball down!"

I watched the Waratahs V Reds S14 game this morning. What a fast dynamic game. Commitment and speed at breakdown is pure fantasy world in Northern hemisphere! Refereeing is main cause of our dour game!

Verdict Scotland robbed themselves!

Over and out. Now for a game in which I don't mind who wins, just want to see a good game.

The BBC had to raise the football. That is not Ireland, only the Republic.

The silver lining is that Scotland look a better team than this current Welsh outfit - especially when their 1stXV were on the field.

Scotland have been completely robbed after an inspired display
The passage of play that led to the try was built on a forward pass and isn't weird why they don't want to show the "trip" again? Maybe it doesn't make for accurate viewing

I'm no big rugby fan but can someone PLEASE explain to me how the BBC can put on quite simply the most biased commentator I have EVER heard. Who was the loud mouth Welsh guy? Why not just take a Welsh supporter from the crowd and give him a mic. How ironic that there should be a tribute to the late great Bill McLaren, a proud Scot who always remained fair and unbiased no matter who was playing. This idiot should listen to a master and to be honest should never commentate on a game again. It's not good enough BBC - FACT !!!

I am still not sure that ROG is the man to hold the 10 in France today. I would have gone for Sexton. That said Declan is a clever man so i have faith in his decisions.

Poor Andy Robinson must be wondering how on earth his team let slip that lead in the last few minutes. He must feel absolutely devastated.

Watch for the constant obstruction by the Irish as they set up for a for a forward drive as ball comes out of their ruck. I've counted at least 6 times.
