Not valid. Doesn't correspond with my sources. I'm at the ground. I got knowledge. Either put up or shut up. Me and Beglin just had a coffee at Nero. Dude kicks knowlegde. Word? I'm saying though. Duke is all that in the flesh. Like a majority share in a Barnsely offshore stakeholders outfit. LAMBO!

Argentina winger Maxi Rodriguez has completed his move to Liverpool on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid and has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Anfield. not bad deal to be honest thought was supposed to be a 18 month deal and 1.5million but 3 and a half years for nothing BARGAIN.

He will wear the number 17 shirt as well?

As well as what? Is he going to be wearing two shirts? I suppose it is cold at the moment! winkeye

Be nice if we maintain our 100% win ratio when Aquaman starts.

We've failed to "turn the page" several other times this season.

Going four games and only failing to draw the last fixture against Reading would tend to indicate results are beginning to turn- that will bring confidence slowly back and improve performances too.

I'd like a strong result to emphatically announce to the world "we're back".

Excellent signing, hopefully that will put Kuyt on the bench now.

Now all we need is a decent striker. Torres's Spanish partner would do nicely. got 18 games left and need to win 16 or so to win the league. Off load Kuyt, Babel, Lucas, Ngog....and this should help. Winning the league would provide a good return not to mention the number of shirts Villa would sell.

Are you talking about David Villa? Are you aware that we are skint?

Maxi seems like a very good deal. 1.5m is what I saw touted around on various pages, and even that would seem good, but for a free signing.

Former teammate with Torres, so he should be able to link up with him, and Mascha being a fellow compatriate, and friend should help him settle.

Babel is a good player, but hasn't really settled as well has he should've, plus he seems a bit too much of a ball hog. I can see Maxi either pairing up in a 4-4-2, or on the right.

For nothing, Maxi is a bargain, but I think he's going to need more time to settle into the premiership then people think. Its a very different league, never mind a very different team.

I cant believe they got this guy on a free that has to be the transfer of the season, Very decent winger played well for argentina at the last world cup as well

Really if you could get this great talent for free
what was the point rafa wasting 20m on wasted aqua who has just returned ...

Still i do not see any hope for liverpool finishing in top 4

because of your managers tactics
Kuyt, lucas and these sort of players need to go now

I think this is technically bad news for Liverpool. Maxi is a fantastic player and to get him on a free is outstanding. That said, it will draw attention away from how much money Benitez has thrown at shocking players leaving you with a championship quality squad with two superstars. I'm not a liverpool hater by any means but this will be bad in the long run because it means that it will be longer before Rafa finally gets sacked.
