I agree.

Every week its the same. It looks like we'll be making a few signings only for them to never happen.

Easy Brewerstu. Not a ball kicked and your having a go?
After witnessing the end of the last campaign run in do you wonder that we need quality signings.
I have read nothing either on here, the BAFC website, Burton mail or the National rags to suggest that our managment team is lacking in anything they need to assemble a side to challenge, and yes I said challenge for honours in league 2.
Lets let them do their job and get on with it.
Our only role will be to turn up and cheer them on when they finally take to the pitch.
Personally I cant wait, but that the limit of my impatience.

No not having a go, just concerned quality players are being missed for whatever reason .If Pesch is excited about new signings lets see them !!. If as you say our only imput is to go to games and support at 15 quid a time i want us to be at least competative ,and not be watching a side struggling to stay in the league ,is that asking too much ?

I am perfectly happy with the way things are going and we need to be patient. Players are likes buses sometimes in the pre-season. You wait ages for one and then three turn up at once.

What would you prefer - playing the waiting game and getting some quality in - players who want to be at the club? Or pressing the panic button early and getting a load of journeymen in - players who have no real interest in the club with over inflated egos on over inflated wages?

What date is it today? Oh yes its still the middle of June. Players contracts dont run out until next week. There will be plenty of players picking up their last wage packet next week and then immediately signing for someone else to ensure July's pay packet.

Paul has everything in hand, players will be here soon. Fees are being negotiated, agents dealt with and players talked to. It will all fall in to place. Trust me as someone who knows.

It takes time to get the right players in no good just going for the first players that come our way , got to get it right as i dont think we have loads of money to spend if we get it wrong , sure pesc knows the players needed have faith .

im getting very excited at the prospect of pre season but slightly worried that we only seem to be after players out of contract- sure that means no transfer fee but if they are out of contract then there current club doesnt want them for a reason. And i for one will want pre season to be a short time when all the new players gel with the established before we begin life in the league. I will shell out my money for tickets and programmes and support the brewers, i just ask for some entertaining football like the start of last year and not to make up the numbers.

Blimey some of you are a right load of worriers aren't you!? Just chill out lads there's no need to be rushing into anything at the moment. We have the nucleus of the squad anyway. It'll all come good by the time we kick off.

As most people here agree, "Have faith" How critical would we be if he went out willy nilly buying journey men looking for one last paycheck.
Everthing the management duo have done so far oozes class.
Be sure he will be his own man.
The Brewers will prosper under this duo.
40/1 to win the league. 12/1 to be promoted. We could be queing up to collect by christmas.
Give them time & enjoy the journey were about to go on.

Call me excessively humble if you like but I am really looking forward to playing what are comparatively big clubs like Notts County, Bradford and co.

However, what is also exciting is that we may entertain Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea or someone like that at the Pirelli in the league or FA cup. Maybe not this season, possibly not the next but it will happen. Being in the hat for such opportunities is another great reward for getting promotion.

Chill out!.......good managers will not be rushed into obtaining 'instant success' players at the enormous finanacial cost to the club. Pesch is taking his time and rightfully so...aiming to pick players with the right attitude for the brewers. A slow build up is preferable to avoid the boom and bust football clubs we have seen fall when the finances tke a dive. I would put money on a couple of league 2 club getting into financial difficulties this year and losing points or their place in the league as a result. Nigel Clough and Ben have shown the way forward was to build slowly and Pesch and Rowett should continue in the same vein taking on loan players where possible...this is the way modern football has to run.Let those players who demand too much.... move on and join clubs which will regret it when they are having trouble paying the wage bill!

Does anyone know what Lee Morris wants (or what his agent wants) and who else might be waiting in the wings?

I didn,t see Lee Morris play for you last season, but neither did I see him play for the foxes. The point I am trying to make is there are much better players than him out there and he is due another spell on the treatment table.

Contract talks with Lee Morris have reportedly stalled as he has instructed his agent to find a club that will match Samuel Eto's salary of £200k a week

Look at the league table. Pesch must be good, we're in a play-off spot without a ball being kicked.
