Me,too.Warrington have Kevin Penny on loan at Widnes (though I think that once he has bulked up a bit he could be a useful player and so return to Warrington.... so perhaps THe Wires could do the same with Lee Briers and hope that Barra can knock the impertinence (not creativity) out of him then perhaps Briers could return to The Halliwell Jones as a team player rather than perhpas focusing on who gets the next round in!

I also had heard that Barrow wanted him but Widnes would be a better bet. Cullen got the best out of him. Didn't he?

If we can get one more season from Briers and get young Myler in at 7 then we have one more year to look for a 6. IMO it would be a tall order to bring a a 6 & 7 at the same time and have them playing to full potential. Briers has come on leaps and bounds under Smith. Is this his influence or the fact that he is having to play for a new contract. One more thing to consider is Briers rescent injuries. he has spent a good few weeks out this year, so maybe its is time to move him on. Only TS knows what is happening as the silence from the wire camp is killing me.

I think celtic should try their best to try and sign briers, he is a natural leader and that is something we havent got

Briers is too good to be playing in the championship with Widnes or Barrow! If he goes a SL team will go for him, Salford will need a half back if Myler leaves and he is better than most of the current halves running round in SL. In the ideal world i would like to see Briers and Myler if the rumours are true we are signing him at 6 and 7, as Monoghan clearly isnt happy at Warrington.

i have been frustrated with briers for a couple of years but have to admit that he makes us tick with the ball and we look much better with him in the team, so unless we replace him with real quality then i feel we would be daft to let him go just yet.

I thought he'd signed for Barrow but apparntly no pen to paper etc!

He has been at last two Widnes games! Admittidly will have pal's there and is with Craig Hall's sister but still...

with briers now signing this 1 year deal at the wolves that fits in nicely with myler moving there when his contract runs out at salford at the end of the 2010 season.
