England have proven time and again that they have have the confidence to chase down any score in limited overs cricket - the semi final against Australia a case in point.

In the case of Aimee Watkins/Mason, do all her all old scorecards get her name changed, or will the records look as if there are two completely different players?

Hello everyone. I'm sat watching the game at home, nervous but, confident the england women can do it!!

I'm extremely disappointed however, at the size of the crowd thus far. I have been trying to get tickets for the final for some time (was extremely confident that the england women would make it there) and am loathe to buy tickets from touts/resellers on auction sites etc. at hugely inflated prices...unfortunately, it looks like a majority of the spectators will be coming to the mens final only.
I think perhaps the ECB/World Twenty20 organisers should have rethought the ticketing scenario, and start time to ensure that the women's final would have appropriate quantity of crowd and women's cricket fans at the match.

Brunt is getting some swing....

I wonder if the Kiwis will follow the example of Dan Vettori, and accuse her of ball-tampering....

Shiv - Hi - If Brunt is getting swing, Ruck could prove a real handful later. Meanwhile, what a start! Keep the pressure on, our team! We need Satterthwaite, Doolan & McGlashan back in the hutch.

Is this a very difficult wicket to bat on, or are the New Zzelanders making a bit of a horlicks of this?

Brunt is on fire - excellent bowling. NZ's shot selection has been abysmal

23-4 off nearly 8 overs in T20. I cant see the match but surely they are going to lose. Or are there demons in the wicket and we get a low scoring final?
Anyone got a live link?

Sensational cricket from England .... so far!

There aren't any obvious demons in the pitch. Brunt bowled incredibly accurately, and was getting a lot of movement in the air and off the seam. Not helped especially by some of the shot selection from the Kiwis, not least Doolan, but I suppose that's what happens if your bowlers are putting the batsmen under pressure and restricting the scoring.

Thanks Juan,
So it looks like England are cruising to a nice victory then.
30 off 10 overs in T20 has got to be a disaster for any team.
Keep it going girls. Proud of you.

Hi Shiv!
I love most sports.
Womens enthusiasm bowls me over (pun intended).
I love the way they work so hard for each other.

England women cricketers are absolutely superb.

It's good we can talk on here Shivfan.
I've got a feeling we won't be talking to each other much over the next two weeks!
Not in a friendly way!
There are two performers I want dispatched quickly, you will want to make the final!
Ne'er the twain shall meet.

However our women cricketers, I'm sure we can agree, are fantastic!

dot balls and singles coming off her bat fleet.
Could be a tough track to bat on though, so not counting my chickens either just yet.
We are going to get the most one sided final in years or a cracking affair where bowlers dominate. Hope for the latter to be honest.

Be professional Kiwi's, anything can still happen.
Learn from England's attitude, supporting and working for each other.
C'mon make a game of it!
It's a final and the lowest T20 score ever (69) is a total you must overcome.

I hope we get tested by Ruck tbh fleet. Lets be honest, in a world cup final, its a terrible effort to be in and around the lowest T20 score ever.
Cant wait to see how good are bowlers are, and we will find out in the second half. The lass from Barnsley was awesome.
Interesting point mentioned earlier on the coach too. Must have a lot of good ideas about winning big events. We could really do with some of that input.

2 maidens in T20 MUST be a record. She was unbelievable.
