golfking101 (U13820122) posted Feb 7, 2009 England are absolutely pathetic. This is some of the worst Rugby I have ever seen. Are they playing the same standard of the north of crappville blind league. Armitage is absolutely rubbish. Every time he gets the ball its like ohhhh my god i have got the ball what do i do now. Thats even if he catches it. He has teflon on his hands again. Why is he being picked when he is that rubbish. The best player has been substituted. Harry Ellis has played well and he is now warming the bench. If they kick the ball any more then it might as well be a football game. Thank god they have brought tait on. At least he can run with the ball.

Klesk2000 (U10979129) posted Feb 7, 2009 England were so bad it's unreal! Italy just gifted them a win in the end, shame Mallet didn't have the confidence to start a proper scrum half, no matter how inexperienced he is, he played a good game and Italy played a lot better with him on and not gifting 3/4 tries away. A massive opportunity lost for Italy to win that game.

U13680919 posted Feb 7, 2009 OK then, off we go. Part Deux. Go on Ireland - get a win and make this competition interesting !! On current form, anyone could win this. But Fortress Croke is a tough place. After the dismal England game, these two teams will show us how rugby is meant to be played.

Rumbo1964 (U11231682) posted Feb 7, 2009 I really do feel sorry for the fans who paid hard earned money o watch the majority of the England team kisk away possesion time and time again, when will the management get it through to them that you can't score tries without the ball in hand, for god sake every time easter got the ball he was squaring up to hoof it up the field what the hells wrong????? and surely if you are going to kick wouldnt it be advisable to find touch? or have they widened twickenham maybe thats whats caused the problem. A very very poor display England italy were unlucky England were very very lucky the welsh must be licking their lips in anticipation of recieving all that possesion next week. Dissapointed !!!!!!!

Belly1971 (U13811804) posted Feb 7, 2009 England have a lot of work to do. They look lacklustre at best and against a better side, they would have struggled massively today. Ellis and Cueto look the only 2 class players on the pitch. But more than anything else they lack a true leader. Borthwick is directionless.

rhysjns (U13791981) posted Feb 7, 2009 I don't agree with Ellis getting MOM. From England's point of view Kennedy was a better bet (Solid as a brick in the lineout) and from Italy who can deny the greatness of Parisse. He would be in anyone's world XV. As a Welshman I think I would even go as far as to give him the nod over Capt Jones.

Pattug (U13820143) posted Feb 7, 2009 Please get rid of Goode. England do not have a chance with a number 10 that can only kick and run sidewards. He needs to be on the beach far far away from an England rugby shirt.

TomosANTIGUATomos (U6244309) posted Feb 7, 2009 The problem with England is that to win against the best teams with their tactics requires dominance of the breakdown, lineout and scrum, and they haven't had that since 2003. With the ball in space they look a bit clueless.
