The problem with Davies (and any "big" name) is that he will only be with us until he gets a better offer + this will almost certainly be in his contract.

I am glad to see the fans are still passionate about the club.

I would have gone yesterday even with the risk of the result. I was at the MK Dons game and it couldn't have been worse than that. Last season it cost 20 in the family enclosue for my son and I to watch. This season it would be 28 and I just cannot justify it. If it was 20 again, then we would be there trying to cheer the team on which with a few more thousand of us would help to turn the fortunes around.

As for the manager, as long as they have fresh ideas and a no nonsense mentality with the players and a desire to suceed rather than just have a job or earn the money. If Phil Parkinson returned I am sure he would be here for the right reasons, ie to prove that he is a great manager. If he does brilliantly again and leaves for a bigger club, who cares, as long as he brings back the good old days.

Down with the prices then up with the U's

I don't mind who is the manager, just as long he can do the business and turn our season round.

A 'name' with a track record might be the answer, with loads of contacts and ability to attract players.

Alternatively, we have had unknowns before who have been excellent (Jim Smith & Bobby Roberts)

You only have to look at some of the big clubs to see they have got it wrong (Spurs)

Big decision on Robbie's shoulders to get it right.

A winning team will attract more support, although I wholly agree the ticket prices are too high. A full stadium will also encourage the team, just need to get the spiral going up instead of down.

Bated breath !!!

fully agree with fingerbob. I too have never left a game before the whistle (unless my social agenda leaves me no option) or have I booed the team when we have played below par.
Having said all that I can sympathise with everyone who feels agreived right now! We all seem in agreement that the club are asking too much money for matchday tickets which hurts even more when we are loosing most of our games! The atmosphere has been a lot different sinse moving from the mighty Layer Rd but Saturday showed a distinct lack of atmosphere.............and fans!

I know what it will take to get a near full ground, as does each and every Col U fan................and I wouldn't even want paying to do it!!!!

I was pleased to see that a business (un-named of course!) was offering match day parking for 5. Lets hope this is a start........

I don't really fancy having Paul Lambert take over..........he hasn't been in management long and his record is not the most desirable. His % of wins for Wycombe was 38.5
Would like to see someone with a bit more on his CV
oh well, lets keep on supporting the Lads and hope we are soon on our way up the table!!

colu73 ....I don't care if its 2,500 screaming kids and their mums in the north stand egging the lads on... I just want our noise to be more than their (the away fans) noise! It would make such a difference and it's so easy to try, if not do.
