If Gilly comes in, as he surely will, one of the midfielders will drop out. A very hard call for Kit Symons, with one out of Hammond, Izzet and Jacko likely to lose their place.

Agree totally this is going to be a very telling game for us. Defeat will only confirm what I think most of us already suspect, that is we are going to be scrapping around in a bottom of the table fight to stay out of the danger zone. It will also most certainly rule Symons out of the job hunt. I have to say I do fancy a victory for us tomorrow but I wouldn't be shocked if it doesn't go our way.

Iam sure we will bounce back after Tuesday and record our first home win .

How about Izzet on the bench ,or three five two ..............suicide prehaps .

I think it has to be 4-4-2, for reasons I've expressed elsewhere.

Giving Yeates freedom to roam won't make much difference defensively, but would be a brave decision.

No reasons why Elito would feature more prominently tomorrow than in the last two games - but we can hope.

Just praying for a win!

Would love to predict a Col U win, but really can't see it happening. We had nothing against Leicester and Gilly won't be that sharp coming back in after injury.

Just watched the Leicester highlights and we could have lost by 4 or 5 but for some solid saves from Deano.

So, hand on heart, I'm saying 2-1 to Bristol. The bookies have Bristol at 11-4 for the win, which seems very generous IMHO.

I think Kit will stick with 4-5-1, especially if Yeates is going to be given the freedom to roam. I hope the 1 is Gillespie - he is a class striker + we will have to play it on the ground. GW would have played Platt + brought Gillespie on in the 70th minute - Kit will distinguish himself from that (hopefully).
Prediction 4-1.

Bristol Rovers fan in peace.

Tomorrow will be a tough one to call as both teams aren't exactly setting the league alight at the moment! However I do think that both teams are better than their current positions and have enough quality in them to avoid relegation - certainly I'm hoping that the Gas starting making their climb up the table tomorrow!!

Realistically though I think it will be a high scoring draw.... 2-2. You guys have an ex Rovers player in Matt Lockwood (who I always rated and never understood why we got rid of him) and also an ex Bristol City Striker in Gillespie who always seems to do ok against us!

We have Lambert who is our Player of the Year so far and I expect he'll cause you a few problems as will our new signing Kuffour....

Hopefully it'll be a cracker to watch and personally whilst I'd like a win - I'd take a draw against you guys as I don't think you'll be struggling the whole season.....

Everyday ...I think what most of us suspect is that we are going to wallow in mid-table mediocracy, instead of challenging for a top six finish.

Yeates was given carte blanche to roam against Leicester and was less effective for it... he needs to be more disciplined, atleast for the first 45 minutes.

Elito, a great winger in the making, needs to be on with atleast 30 minutes to go for now. Starting by Xmas.

4-4-2 Gillespie to start with Platt.

And Bluestick... Lockwood is currently our only injury.

While I'll take yet another home draw, I actually think we're in with a shout of bagging that first home win and relieving that voodoo type pressure to get THE FIRST HOME WIN... to be a football fan is to be the very definition of the word 'optimist'<laugh>

Col U rule ok!

there is no way we should be scrapping around the bottom with our squad, need to go 4-4-2, with perkins out on right, bring Elito on with time to do something if things are not going well, bring perkins into the middle with the expensive of hammond, jacko or izzet, if need be. we are better than this and if gilly starts getting the goals we will be

It's our stark lack of pace that I find most concerning. When we get the ball we don't seem to know what to do with it. We tip tap it about at a pedestrian pace. I'm all for keeping posession, but at the pace we show we just get pushed back. Gillie will bring much needed pace to the side, but we will need more than that to get us out of this rut, and further loan signings will be required. As for this game, I think a slender win might be on the cards: 1-0 or 2-1. Lets hope for the best.
