According to reports, he was well over the limit / he had no insurance / no licence / no lights / no seat belt & er... no brains?

GW..He has to be offloaded - now!

I suppose he could go down for these offences. Tony Adams did for sim-u-lar & I guess the only difference between this & the Plymouth case is that this idiot has'nt killed anyone - yet!

Regretfully I have to agree. I am a huge fan of Jamie and think he has immense talent and potential. I often pulled my hair out, wondering why George wouldn't play him more often, the only reason I could come up with was that he was not committing himself properly and had an attitude problem. Appears this is the case.
If the idiot thinks he has made it by taking an above average wage over two years at Colchester then he has incredibly low standards and no forethought of what he could achieve!
Last season should have been a big one for him following the exit of Cureton and Big Chris. Didn't happen and it would appear to be completely Jamie's fault. Time to get rid of the waster and concentrate on more dedicated youngsters who could still fulfill their potential!

Saw him in town Thursday night as it happens, stood across the road from him while he had an argument with who I assume was his girlfriend, in the period of about an hour he got through a whole packet of cigarettes, hardly what I'd call committed to the cause?

simple facts are most footballers sadly drink an drive.

Not in the sense everyone always assume though.

Everyone does it without even thinking sometimes from pro footballer down to sunday league.

Its crazy just how many go out the night before then wake up the next day, think nothing of it and drive to training without even thinking how there still over the limit.

God I hate to think what would happen if the local police turned up at my local council pitches. They would need a bus to take away the over the limit players.

Matty Pattison of Norwich City was caught like this also. Went out on the saturday night, someone at his hotel called the police after seeing him come in at 4am then leaving in the morning to drive to training. He got to training and a police car was there at the training ground waiting.

Of course though all the fans assume hes an over paid footballer who went out, necked 15 pints then drove home with a few lady's of the night.

Theres never any excuse for drink driving but its just shocking how many people who slate the pro's doing it when they have more than likely done it atleast once without even thinking about it.

W###er, I mean I would give my right arm* to have the talent and opportunity, not to mention pay packet, that Guy has.

*I'd be rubbish at throws in though, so probably wouldn't get a game anyway :D
