5-20: right hope I'm still standing for this one, the two I can pick out in this event are festivale and illusion both at 9/1, illusion has only had three starts and looked a prospect when turning over the odd on Red Dune at windsor ( red dune went on to win well at goodwood), however seemed to hate the soft ground in geordieland next time up on only ist 3rd start, think on faster going will be back to form even from out of handicap, but my SLIGHT preference is for FESTIVALE, was a definite eye catcher for me the last day on its firs try at a mile, staying on well at york after having trouble in running and looks very solid e/w material at 9/1 (may even reverse f/c the two)

I agree with the majority of your views as well, which is unusual. I would not be going big on the Duck though, perhaps it may just turn out to be Foie Gras.

My small bets today include the 2 french raiders in the first 2 races and Langs Lash.

had a 250 quid double HTN at 4/6 and the duck at 7/4 as my ascot main bet, recouped 200 quid of that yesterday wil placepot up to Ł2.50

I like Cruel Sea in the last.

Good Article - attheraces reckons Bankable may go off 9/4 or 5/2. Favs have a poor record in the race but this horse should win doing cartwheels!

I'm also with Cruel Sea. I think they persevered with the longer trip in the hope she's be an Oaks filly. Back at a mile she's a Gp1 filly in a handicap, and she's a much better price than the hot pot in the Hunt Cup.

Beat Seven in the Queen Mary also takes my eye.

Danehill Destiny in the Queen Mary looks very good. As for that horse that finished third in the same race behind her at Windsor, has nobody looked at the 7lb that horse was recieving that day?

Sorry to hijack the thread but it wasn't worthy of one on its own. Does anybody know what the tote rules are when picking an exacta which ends up with a non runner in?

I did a couple this morning with Paco Boy in.

Its not happened to me before.

Did Bankable run that badly? Frankie (who I don't rate) had to move it over because all the pace was on the other side. I'm happy with my Docofthebay place money. Just wish I had plunged on Mr Aviator in the same way that someone obviously did to constrict the price from 60's to 28.
