Confirmed by Royce Simmons on BBC Merseyside, but leaving at the end of season.

Eastmond told his team mates during training today and promised them he would continue to give 100% for the rest of the season.

Thoughts.

According to Bath skills coach Brad Davis (yes the RL one) he'll be playing wing / full back at first but with the plan for him to play fly half!

He's not that good. He'll be back in RL within 2 years.

It would have been good if he didn't admit to watching shameless on another thread!

I think Saints would be best served by letting Eastmond go early, give them the season to bring through new talent rather than rely on someone who's off elsewhere. Also I suspect Bath would be worried that their new expensive investment would be at risk of picking up a serious injury in a full season of Super League.

Good luck to the kid, now lets focus our attention on who is coming through the youth system to replace him.

Ron

You really must stop opening your mouth so wide; your foot keeps slipping in there!

Firstly I never said I donít watch TV I said I donít watch films. I do watch some TV, but very little.

Secondly I never said I have watched shameless, in fact I havenít, I have seen it advertised and seen snippets of it. however that doesnít mean I donít know anything about it. I last watched coronation street when Elsie Tanner was fit, but I know they had a tram crash recently. Now how would I know that if I donít watch it?

Eastmond to bath is bringing outside money into our game.

The exposure, antoher RL convert is also good.

Eastmond for England - every RL convert is automatically considered for the national union side, why

11 out of England RUs elite squad learned to play rugby outside English RFU clubs (league converts or foreigners, or both)

England RU will start to depend on league for their back 3 positions.

League is the ultimate winner in the long run as more youngsters try to emulate their heroes (league-ies) in the emerging clubs like Bristol Sonics etc.

How?

Eastmond isnít going to Union until the end of the season, when I believe his contract with SH (for Cantonaís sake thatís the stains) will have expired. So the way I see it no transfer fee, no breech of contract no money changing hands.

Please do correct me if Iím wrong. Thanks.

Isn't there a law that if a player is under a certain age compensation has then to be payed.
